Dutch soldiers who are going to participate in the UN peacekeeping force UNIFIL in South-Libanon, were well prepared for their peacekeeping operation. REACTIONS of different soldiers on their dispatch to Libanon. STATEMENT by Minister of Defense Scholten about their assigment at the departure to Libanon from Schiphol airport. SHOTS: future UNIFIL soldiers listen to information given by major Roede; practicing how to build an observation post In Vught; a missile is blown up; training how to set up roadblocks with armoured vehicles and barbed wire and actions against civilians; training on the commando assault course in Roosendaal; handing out of the new UNIFIL uniforms and berets and vaccination at the station in Zuidlaren; militairy vehicles are loaded on the freighter 'Dokexpress' for shipping; quartermasters say goodbye to relatives at Schiphol airport and board their airplane.
